Welcome to my website!

I am really excited to have this opportunity to represent Canada at the 2011 Gijon ITU Duathlon World Championships.

At the present, I am preparing for an upcoming 2011 Multisport Duathlon Series this summer as part of my training for Gijon. I am also participating in a few winter road races to improve my running.

I am training hard and looking for support from my community. Unfortunately, as I found out, international events come at a steep cost to the athlete. So I turn to you for help to get to Spain in my quest to make Canada proud.

Thanks to everyone who supported me and helped me to Spain. I am happy to announce that everything went well and I finished with a gold medal just as I had hoped. It wasn’t an easy journey, nor was the race itself. Reflecting back, it is the biggest accomplishment I have achieved. However, it is now time for new and bigger dreams.

I am starting a new year of training and preparing mentally for next racing season, which will start in May with Ontario Duathlon Series, and end in Nancy, France, with 2012 ITU Duathlon World Championships. I hope to qualify for elite status and will work hard to get my time up to par with the best duathletes in the world. I look forward to another exciting year.
